Those days might be over, but THULS dominates as the standard for all-weather reference books with an infinite write and rewrite capability. Improved Tactical Casualty Care Card (IT4C) |

Designed with the non-medic in mind in an intuitive and user-friendly “check the box” format. Can be issued to soldiers as part of their IFAK and carried and used during both training and combat operations, enabling combat lifesavers and medics to train on the same card that they use in combat. A resource that can be used repeatedly in schoolhouses and during unit training as an intuitive, cost-effective item that enhances combat efficiency and builds “muscle memory”. Works seamlessly with the new MIST report required at the end of each 9-Line TACEVAC Request. The entire first-aid / pre-hospital care documentation / TACEVAC request process can be rehearsed over and over using the IT4C and the THULS 9-Line TACEVAC Request with MIST. Fits perfectly in the IFAK and sleeve and breast pocket of ACUs. Written on with a Staedtler map pen, Ultra-Fine Sharpie or pencil, ink is removed with 90% rubbing alcohol; pencil is erased with an eraser. Can be SANITIZED with 10% bleach / 90% water or hospital grade decontamination agents without removing the writing. |

Paper manuals get destroyed in the environments where military, police, and fire fighters work. The Marine Corps infantry, knuckle-dragging geniuses over at MIR (another acronym... STOP!) decided in the “2000’s,” to take the giant leap forward and print on a plastic. It’s slightly textured, so you can write on the cards, but not textured enough to wipe yourself with. They also gave an entire industry the middle finger and decided to disregard all of the common paper and notebook sizes.
That’s where Battle Board comes in to the rescue. We took pity on the boys up in New Hampshire or Vermont or wherever they are and designed a case specifically for the THULS books that have become ubiquitous within the field-manual obsessed community.
