TRU® Zip Map Pouch

Waterproof map protection designed by Battle Board

Protect your map from the elements with this waterproof pouch that integrates perfectly with the Battle Board system. Layer the map pouch under the polycarbonate surface of your Battle Board to write and erase your navigational routes, operational plans, or checklists. 

Snap straps on Battle Boards fit neatly through the tie-down slots on the long sides to hold the pouch in place and prevent movement. Crystal clear TPU provides durable protection in tough environments for the display side and the matte black cover gives strength to the overall pouch. Both sides are permanently welded together to form a lifelong bond for the case. Waterproof important information for your mission.

Maintenance

Clean the TRU® Zip with water and soap and then lubricate the opening and slider with wipes from our friends at Nite Ize. If you're in tight spot or don't have any wipes handy, try rubbing a candle along the opening, spread some lip balm, coconut oil, or silicone spray for a quick fix. Keeping the zipper clean and lubricated will extend the life of the pouch.

*Note, do not write on the map pouch as most inks cannot be removed completely. We offer Overlay Sheets as a perfect way to layer routes, control measures, and other markings on your Battle Board. 

Storage

Keep the TRU® Zip Map Pouch flat when possible or roll it up so that the zipper does not fold. Bend the TRU® Zip only in wide arcs that do not crease. Folding the zipper across its axis can cause water and air leaks. Improper storage or use in this way voids the warranty of the product.
